Producing conferences and events for the arts sector is another aspect of the work Remarkable productions does.

Working closely with ISAN (The Independent Street Arts Network) we have produced their bi-annual conference since 2005 and will produce their conference in Glasgow November 2011.

These events provide an essential opportunity for producers and artists to come together and discuss the great issues affecting them and offer a forum for networking and an exchange of ideas which helps keep the sector vibrant and relevant in the ever changing climate of the outdoor arts sector.

In 2010 we co-produced “Big Ideas’, a conference for the Puppet Centre Trust at the National Centre for Carnival Arts in Luton which brought together producers, artists and makers of large scale animated outdoor work from all over the UK and Europe.

Also in 2010 we produced the show for the opening of the newly refurbished Kentish Town Sports Centre on behalf of Camden Council.

Remarkable has produced the ISAN bi-annual conference since 2005 and will be producing the next conference to be held in Glasgow in November 2011.

A two day conference set up to explore the artistry of large scale live animation at the National Centre for Carnival Arts in Luton.
