Remarkable Productions was founded in early 2005 by Julian Rudd, as an arts production company and consultants for theatre, live music and arts festivals and events.
Current clients include The Mayor of London and Ealing Council - as the producers of the London Mela. Nutkhut - producing a national tour and outdoor dance theatre show Bollywood Steps. Tower Hamlets Council - as producers for Paradise Gardens.
Remarkable Productions also act as coordinator and administrators of the Independent Street Arts Network, a professional membership organisation made up of 70 members, all promoters of street arts festivals and events from the UK and Eire. ISAN is a Arts Council England regularly funded organisation.
Julian has over 15 years experience of producing events of different scales and art forms as a producer, production manager and programmer.
He was Director of the Ealing Summer Festival programme from 2002-5 whilst Events Manager at Ealing Council. The programme included Ealing Jazz Festival (the largest free Jazz Festival in Europe), Ealing Comedy Festival, Ealing Summer Streets, Ealing Summer Classical Concert (outdoor classical concert with fireworks) Festival and Fire and Light (large scale fireworks and theatre event) and founding the London Mela in partnerhip with the Mayor of London, an event which Remarkable Productions has continued to produce after Julian left his role in Ealing to set up Remarkable in May 2005.
Previously he produced the Croydon Summer Festival programme (2000-2002). Other notable credits include Production Management of Glastonbury Dance Tent 1997-2002, Jazzworld Stage 1994-5, Falmouth Tall Ships Race for Cornwall 98, Festival Director of the Megadog Total Eclipse Festival for Harvey Goldsmith's Entertainments (1999), Production Management for the Newham Millenium Firworks in London. Julian was also a Director of The Beach Festival, winner of the 1998 Radio 1 Festival of the year.
As a Creative Producer Julian has produced a number of shows including Circus Mamloucos "The Mamaloucos Experience" (1995), Black Hole Theatre Company "The Singularity" (1999), Walk the Plank/The Dhol Academy "In the Dholdrums" (2004) and Nutkhut's "Bollywood Steps" (2006)
